Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and SERRA TECHNOLOGIES PTY LTD (ABN 84 702 332 054), an Australian company ("Serra"), for the use of Loom and your Serra account. Loom is an AI assistant that operates Blender on your behalf, delivered through Loom for Blender and Loom for Windows, and served by Loom's servers. By creating a Serra account or using Loom you accept these terms. How we handle your personal information is described in our privacy policy.
Your Serra account
You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us at support@serra.tech if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
The service and your balance
Features, limits and supported Blender versions can change, and we may require you to update Loom for Blender or Loom for Windows to keep using the service. Using Loom spends credits from your Serra account balance. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and are forfeited when your account closes.
Acceptable use
Loom's responses are produced by third-party AI models, and their providers' rules apply to your use of Loom alongside these terms: the Anthropic Usage Policy and the OpenAI Usage Policies. You must not:
-use Loom for anything unlawful, or to create content that infringes someone else's rights;
-use Loom or its output to build or train a model or service that competes with Loom or with those providers;
-reverse engineer, probe or interfere with Loom's servers, or try to circumvent its safety measures, limits or credit accounting;
-resell access to Loom, share your account, or give third parties access to Loom's servers through your account;
send Loom automated traffic.
Attempting to make Loom produce content those policies prohibit counts as a breach, whether or not the model complies. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. If you think we have made a mistake, write to support@serra.tech.
Your content and Loom's output
You own what you send to Loom and what Loom produces for you. You grant Serra the right to process that content to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. Loom's output is generated by AI and can be wrong: factual assertions in it should not be relied upon without checking, and generated code can do things you did not intend. Loom runs that code inside your Blender only with the permissions you grant it in the add-on and records an Undo step before each run, but you are responsible for reviewing what you allow it to do, for keeping your work saved, and for how you use the output.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot be excluded by agreement. Subject to that, Loom is provided as is; we do not promise that it will be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, and our total liability to you for any claim connected with Loom is limited to the amount you paid Serra for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or AUD 100 if you paid nothing. We are not liable for loss of data, work or profit that results from output you chose to use or code you chose to run.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Loom and ask us to close your account at any time by emailing support@serra.tech. We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms, including the model providers' policies above, or close it with reasonable notice if we discontinue the service. The sections on content, liability and governing law survive closure.
Changes
We update the date and version above when these terms change and give account holders notice before a change that reduces your rights takes effect. Continuing to use Loom after that date means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia, and disputes go to its courts, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections where you live.
